Dundalk Stadium Family Fun & Dual Race Day Saturday 15th August sponsored by BAR 1 Betting
The highlight of our calendar for summer family fun coming soon!
Dundalk Stadium will be a buzz of excitement and entertainment on Saturday 15th August as we near our annual family fun and dual race day.
This event attracts crowds every year with horse racing, a fun filled kid’s zone, live music and the culmination of the BAR 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup Greyhound Final.
The afternoon will see a flurry of activities to keep the little ones entertained from the amazing Tommy Trickster magician who will thrill young and old alike, face painters to allow your child to transform into their favourite characters, enclosed ball pit for toddlers in The Kidz Playbus and the always popular pony rides from the Pony Party Company to make dreams come true. Then there is a selection of paid rides from Freestyle Amusements such as bungee trampoline, teacups and pirate boat. There will also be a giant inflatable slide and penalty shootout to keep everyone busy throughout the afternoon.
Horse racing is followed by very energetic performances from returning favourites Vertigo & Paddy Byrne, who will raise the roof until the greyhound race card gets under way from 8pm.
The evening then plays host to the feature race, the BAR 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup Final 2026. Where the fastest dogs in Ireland have advanced through 4 rounds of competition to the final.
The evening doesn’t stop there, our resident DJ will play into the wee hours for those looking to top off their Saturday night with a dancefloor bop!

The BAR 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup heats continue every Saturday evening up to the 15th August.
