The BAR 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup trap draw for the quarter final of this exciting annual competition where the fastest dogs compete for a grand prize pot of €20,000 took place last Saturday. This prestigious race attracts greyhounds from all over the country making it one of the main highlights of the Dundalk Stadium calendar.

24 greyhounds remaining with the 1st 3 in each heat qualifying for the semi finals. The rounds continue every Saturday with the big final taking place on Saturday 15th August where there will be a full day’s activities and entertainment.

Horse racing takes place the afternoon of the 15th August with kids activities both free and paid rides available. Live music can then be enjoyed in the ground and first floor bars including the ever popular Vertigo and Paddy Byrne. This is then followed by a 12 race greyhound card featuring the BAR 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup Final 2026.
